Facial Trauma

Common facial trauma managed include upper jaw fractures (Le Fort type fractures), lower jaw fractures, cheek bone fractures, nasal bone fractures and eye socket fractures. These injuries are often sustained as the result of contact sports, inter-personal violence, workplace accidents or motor vehicle accidents. Dr Yang is experienced in managing both hard tissue and soft tissue facial injuries from years of working in various major trauma centers. The management is variable depending on the severity and location of the fractures, but normally only one over night stay is required.
